A 32-yr-old man was shot in Dublin as kids watched in horror in broad daylight just before 4pm today in Coolock, Dublin.
In a Love/Hate type scene, a man cycling on a push bike cycled over towards the victim and shot him in the back as the man ran for cover when he realised what was about to happen. Toddlers and children were playing on the green at the time.
The victim’s injuries have been described as not life threatening. He is being treated at Beaumont Hospital.
Gun crime is 10 times higher since the year 2000 than it is in London.
