Met Eireann have issued a status yellow warning for the entire country this morning, as gusts of up to 100km/h are expected.
The warning will remain in place until 6pm on Sunday evening.
A status yellow rainfall warning is also in place for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.
