Afternoon temperatures today, Thursday, will reach 12 or 13C in the south of Ireland.
But a series of fast-moving storm systems will keep creating unsettled weather from Ireland and the British Isles, and all the way across northern Europe into this weekend.
Friday is predicted to be cold and blustery, with temperatures fluctuating between six and nine degrees.
Saturday will be a warmer day, with temperatures reaching seven to 10 degrees. Wind is forecast for Sunday and Monday, with much milder daytime temperatures of up to 10 or 13 degrees.
