Gardai are at a house in Tallaght at the moment and are investigating a fatal stabbing in Tallaght tonight.
A male, aged in his 40s, sustained fatal injuries and died following a row at a house in Castle Park.
It’s understood that a 19-yr-old man was arrested at the scene and has been taken to Tallaght Garda Station.
He is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda Station.
Gardai and the emergency services raced to the house just before 9pm tonight.
There they discovered a man inside the house with fatal injuries following a stabbing incident.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene but he was pronounced dead a short time later in the house.
His body remains at the scene.
It’s understood that both males knew each other very well.
