GardaĂ in Co Carlow have confirmed that a man aged in his 20s has sadly passed away following a road traffic incident this evening.
It is understood the man died after he was involved in a two vehicle collision on thd R726 Tullow to Carlow Road at approximately 6.15pm this evening.
GardaĂ say the driver of the other vehicle was to St Luke’s Hospital for treatment, but it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
