A jury has ruled against a father seeking to prevent his son from being chemically castrated with puberty blockers and sex hormones as his mother wants their child to become transgender.
Jeffrey Younger took his ex-wife, Dr. Anne Georgulas, a paediatrician, to court after she made it clear she wishes to transition their now seven-year-old son James, who is a twin, to a trans-girl and has already started dressing him in girls’ clothes and calling him ‘Luna’.
A Jury in Dallas, Texas however, has found that Georgulas has full authority to continue to “transition” James to a trans-female.
According to the report on LifeSiteNews 11 of 12 jurors decided the current joint managing conservatorship over the twin sons of Georgulas and their father, Jeffrey Younger, should be replaced by sole managing conservatorship by Georgulas.
Georgulas had previously threatened Younger with a child abuse charge because he would not affirm their son is a transgender child.
Georgulas petitioned to modify the parent-child relationship while referring to James as a “gender expansive or transgender child” who “by choice, now goes by the name Luna” but the little boy only seems to exhibit these characteristics when in the care of his mother.
James’ father has informed the court that when he is with him or his friends or his brother, he both dresses and acts in a masculine fashion as a normal, healthy boy of his age would.
Numerous witnesses came forward to attest to the truth of Mr Younger’s assertions about his son.
This was in vain however, as the court ruled that Younger could not dress his son as a boy or share faith-based or biologically based scientific teachings on sexuality.
Georgulas made the decision to transition her son to a trans-girl after he expressed fondness for the movie “Frozen” and asked for a girls’ toy at McDonald’s.
Thankfully, the father has just in the last number of days managed to get another Judge to see sense and has had the ruling overturned in his favour.
