Covid-19: Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer refers to coronavirus as ‘persistent and ongoing concern’




Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan has referred to Covid-19 as a ‘persistent and ongoing concern.’

The comments come on a day where 527 more people tested positive for the disease across Ireland.

Further lockdown restrictions are likely shortly after Christmas Day.
