Fearing that the child’s death has been concealed for at least a year, the GardaĆ have begun a frantic hunt for the missing youngster, reports The Mirror.
Previously, it was assumed that the child’s whereabouts were only unknown, but sources have informed us that investigators now think the youngster is dead and that their mother concealed their death for several months, if not longer.
The child and Family Agency, or Tusla, is completely assisting the GardaĆ in their investigation into the disappearance of the child, which is now taking place in a large Irish town, reports The Mirror.
It has been found that gardaĆ now assume that the mother of the child brought a dummy to a meeting in order to trick Tusla employees into thinking the child was okay after their presumed death.
A source said: āIt is hard to believe, but the suspicion now is that the mother brought a different child to the meeting with Tusla staff. We believe that the child was dead before the meeting and the mother tried to fob off Tusla staff by using a decoy. We suspect that she brought her boyfriendās child to the meeting and fooled Tusla staff into believing that was her own child,” reports The Mirror.
We now know that the child was raised in a troubled household and that Tusla was active in making sure the youngster was taken care of.
It is believed that the meeting happened recently at a town that we are unable to name.
And as a result, garda detectives have come to the conclusion that the youngster was deceased when they met. Now that the mother has disappeared, too, gardaĆ are searching for both her and the child.
She hasn’t been seen since being last seen at a transport hub close to her house. Police now believe she could have left Ireland. It’s acknowledged that the gardaĆ are certain the boy is dead even though they are unsure if he was slain, passed away due to sickness, or died accidently, reports The Mirror.
