A German court has passed down an historic ruling in which hangovers are now classed as an illness.
The ruling comes after the makers of a so called anti-hangover drink were brought to court in Frankfurt, over illegal claims about their products.
According to reports in Germany, the court issued the ruling that declared any slight changes in the human body’s normal state is deemed an illness.
The ruling which classed changes such as headaches, tiredness and nausea as a illness has now forbid any such anti-hangover products from being able to claim their product cures hangovers.
Under the new ruling such products cannot ascribe to cure or prevent such illnesses nor can they give the impression that they work to treat such an illness.
