Government says they’ll only start to gradually exit lockdown from early May

As the country does its best to keep all hopes up that we’ll actually get out of this third lockdown within 9 weeks, Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar and Eamon Ryan consistently are pulling the brakes on what normality will actually look like from the end of April.

The Government is today warning of a ‘gradual’ exit from lockdown after April from the start of May onwards with easing continuing from there on in.

The current lockdown has been extended until the end of April at least, after which some restrictions might be eased.

The Irish Government will make an announcement next week, but few changes to current conditions are expected.
