Investigative journalist Gemma O’Doherty has faced immense pressure over the past number of days against holding a meeting for her new movement, Anti-Corruption Ireland.
The first meeting of its kind happened a couple of weeks ago in Ashbourne, where a sizeable number of people listened to Gemma talk about the state of the nation and corruption that she claims goes on and has gone on in the past.
Tonight’s venue for the Cork meeting will not be revealed until shortly after 5pm when Gemma will announce its location.
The reason for this is that a number of people complained to various venues where the meeting was due to take place and this way, the ACI won’t give them enough time to make complaints.
