Four new test centres around the country have been setup for people to walk in voluntarily to get tested.
As farcical as it may sound, hundreds of people around the country are queueing up to get a covid test even though they’ve absolutely no symptoms whatsoever.
Some people feel they just need to get tested for the sake of it while others are hoping to end quarantine sooner by getting tested.
Other people say they need to be tested for work or travel purposes with a smaller number claiming that they want to visit relatives and feel like they should get tested first.
Either way, it would appear as though some people are either hypochondriacs or are taking up much needed time for people who actually need to get tested legitimately. Four new walk-in centres have opened around the country with more likely to follow. Case numbers will probably go up as a result and will inevitably see an extended lockdown as a result.
