Met Eireann is warning of miserable weather conditions over the next few days, with heavy rain, sleet, and the possibility of snow in some areas.
Today, Thursday, will be a very wet day, particularly across western areas, with temperatures reaching 13C at best. The rain will continue early in the night, becoming drier later on.
Friday is forecast to be particularly miserable, with cold, wind, and blustery showers predicted, and temperatures remaining in single figures.
The weekend is expected to fare not much better weather wise, with frequent showers and brief sunny spells at times.
