There’s good news for Penneys fans as the chain store may possibly re-open in June, possibly even as early as June 8th after the coronavirus pandemic finally begins to ease.
The popular store hasn’t officially declared when they’ll reopen and will obviously work in accordance to government guidelines, but for fans of Penneys – the day is at least getting closer for you and your friends to shop in your favourite store once more.
All those who love shopping full stop will be able to once again enjoy going to the shops, as long as they maintain social distancing and possibly wear a mask.
Smyths Toys and other toy shops will also be allowed reopen in June, a favourite for children during the summer who want outdoor toys.
Initially small stores will be allowed open leading to larger stores as the weeks go on. The stores in question would have to be able to provide social distancing so if Penneys, for example, can do this then they’ll be reopen within weeks.
For now though, all that people can do is hope that the unwinding goes well and that all 5 phases continue as planned.
