UK Presenter Piers Morgan has directly confronted an LGBTTQQIAAP2S activist who supported a petition calling for him to be fired after he criticised a BBC documentary which claims there are more than 100 genders.
In mocking the documentary, the TV host and current affairs commentator incensed LGBTTQQIAAP2S activists and allies after sardonically claiming he identifies as a “two-spirit penguin”.
In a heated debate Morgan confronted Gay activist Ben Butterworth who appeared on the Good Morning Britain along with transgender broadcaster India Willoughby.
Mr Morgan condemned what he called “cancel culture” where people like him are ‘no-platformed’ or sacked from their jobs if they disagree with modern liberal dogma.
Speaking to Mr Butterworth, Morgan said:
“Your response to a good debate is to cancel people and to try to get them fired.
The problem with liberal people today is they are so illiberal they are only interested in making people think like them and agree with them. It’s one rule for you and another for everyone else.
You can identify with 100 different genders but as soon as I identify as a two-spirit penguin, you go nuts.”
Mr Butterworth claimed he was not a fan of “cancel culture” but does think that those who are not “willing to learn” should have their right to free speech suppressed, and employment terminated as the twitter-born petition is calling for in relation to Piers Morgan.
Transgender broadcaster India Willoughby agreed with Morgan’s assertion that trans ideology that pushes the notion that there are over 100 genders makes a “mockery” of people who have transitioned.
Speaking directly in relation to children, at whom much of this ideology and agenda is directed, Morgan said
“Near where I grew up in Brighton, there are now 85 kids that identify as gender fluid.
‘It’s nonsense, it’s confusing people. You’ve got kids watching this problem, hearing there are 100 different ways to identify your gender. It’s dangerous.”
