Results of lockdown? 1 in 5 Irish people are having anxiety issues during lockdown

A study carried out by Trinity College University has concluded that 1 in 5 Irish people are experiencing anxiety issues as the ‘draconian’ Level 5 lockdown measures take hold.

Many people are doing their best to just get through lockdown, but as the Irish government continue to give the Irish public little hope or a direct exit plan, it appears as though Lockdown 3 is the hardest one to date.

The study found that up to 1 million Irish people are having anxiety issues with GP’s and other services being contacted by people for help. People are reminded to reach out for help to all available services should they need it.
