In a stark reminder of why this government must be ousted without further delay, the rate of homelessness among children in this country increased by an incredible 67% in June, when compared with the same time last year.
According to figure released, there were 2,206 children in homelessness last month, compared to 1,318 in June 2015.
At the same time, the number of adults in a homeless situation has increased by 27% since last year.
