The national emergency personnel have advised that if people don’t have to travel on the roads today to not do so as they remain extremely treacherous after both the beast from the east and Storm Emma.

Council workers have been gritting the roads but they haven’t reach all B roads and have actually asked local farmers to lend a hand in clearing lanes, drives, roads and pathways in their area.
