It’s getting closer and closer to the end-game of what will actually happen with Brexit.
The European Union have been accused of making it as difficult as possible for the United Kingdom to actually leave the EU once and for all.
This latest revelation is no different.
According to RTE, the EU will demand a €10 billion cheque from the United Kingdom even if there’s a no-deal Brexit.
A top EU official told RTE News: “We hope to have it wrapped up this week.”
The no-deal Brexit is a real possibility come April 12th. In that scenario, the EU would demand the payment in exchange for UK beneficiaries continuing to receive grants for the rest of the year.
