Social media users left in awe as Pentagon release images of so-called ‘UFOs’
The US Department of Defence has released three videos taken by U.S. Navy pilots in 2004 and 2015 showing Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs which appear to be intelligently controlled and carrying out aerial manoeuvres beyond the capabilities of any known aircraft.
The Pentagon released the footage on Monday in order to “clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos.”
The footage was first leaked to the New York Times in 2017 and numerous experts ridiculed the footage claiming it was fabricated and that the movements and speed of the UFOs in the footage is impossible.
The videos were captured by Navy pilots during training exercises off the east coast of the United States, one in 2004 and the other two in 2015 and show the craft flying at thousands of miles per hour in the Earth’s atmosphere before coming to instantaneous stops and then back to flight.
There is also no detectable method of propulsion from the craft and expressions of incredulity from the pilots can be heard.
The Pentagon did not comment as to the origin of the craft but this has only fuelled wild speculation online that they may be extra-terrestrial, dimensional or even time travellers or as some content, craft belonging to a secret space programme or breakaway human civilisation.
