Young Irish “forced to emigrate” as Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Green coalition allows Dublin rent crisis to spiral out of control.
Young Irish voters are becoming increasingly disillusioned by the Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Green coalition and it’s mismanagement of the lockdowns and ongoing housing crisis.

DublinLive reports that the Young Irish are being “forced to emigrate” as due to the Dublin rent crisis.

They quote Sorcha The Subversion who wrote the following poem on Twitter

“IRELAND.
I love Ireland.
But her rulers don’t love me.
I voted for change.
….
So I must make the trek now
To a foreign land
And sadly leave Éire be

Sorca told Dublinlive “The government is ignoring the housing crisis and it’s hard to believe that they’ve promised to solve it, they’ve said it’s not an overnight solution but they’ve had so much time to try and solve it.

It’s a value to them (politicians) because most of them are landlords. I understand why they’re pushing it out because they’re earning from it and a lot of their voters are homeowners.”

The Young indigenous Irish community have lost hope in the government and now feel the only option is to abandon their homeland and their families for a better life. Most will not return.
