Two little boys had their dreams come true on last night’s Late Late Show when they were given a ‘Woodie’ doll from Toy Story from their hero Tom Hanks.
Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf were conjoined twins until a couple of years ago when they were miraculously separated by gifted surgeons.
Now the two 9-yr-old Cork boys are living a full and happy life.
Throughout their surgeries, they held a Woodie and Buzz toy for comfort. An American man living in Cork befriended the boys’ parents. He happened to be a friend of Tom Hanks and got in touch with the movie star to tell him about the two boys.
Tom duly made a special video for the boys and sent them a signed Woodie doll each.
A nice touch and a nice uplifting, feel good story.
