Donut hysteria in Blanchardstown forces Ireland’s first Krispy Kreme to cut opening hours

Krispy Kreme has opened its first outlet in Ireland to massive fan fair but has now hat to cut its opening hours after donut hysteria gets out of control.

The flagship store, which is also a drive through was initially open 24 hours a day. These hours have now cut those opening hours to 6am until 11.30pm after residents nearby complained of cars beeping all night.

The popularity of the donut shop has taken both the American company and the residents of Blanchardstown by surprise.

Krispy Kreme Ireland have said that “the response has been way ahead of our most optimistic expectations” in relation to the reaction to the stores opening.
