Police in the UK have arrested two healthcare professionals after they were alleged to hand administered poison into patients.
According to Metro.co.uk, the arrests come after the horrifying discovery was made at Blackpool Victoria Hospital in Lancashire.
It is understood that the two people were arrested after it was suspected that patients were given harmful poisons in the hospitals Stroke Unit.
Police investigating the incident say the two individuals involved are being questioned over the incidents which were said to be an intent to injure.
It is understood both healthcare workers have been released on bail and have been suspended from their duties.
