The new Center Parcs holiday village opened its doors for the first time in Longford this week, giving jobs to almost 800 people.
The facility represents an investment of about €300m, and it’s expected to provide employment for about 900 people when it’s fully operational.
The resort offers 466 lodges in two, three, and four-bedroom format, a 31-bed apartment complex, and one hundred leisure activities.
A number of areas at the facility remain under construction, but the park is expected to be fully open by mid-August.
