Gardaí in Co Wexford have launched an investigation after three girls were allegedly sexually assaulted by a group of men in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after the three girls were allegedly attacked at a popular walkway at Courtown Harbour.
Although Gardai have to reveal many details about the case, it is reporteded by the Irish Mirror that the girls who are believed to be from Dublin, were attacked in a burrow of a beach at approximately 12:15am.
Officers investigating the incident say they are currently reviewing CCTV footage in the area and they have taken statements from the girls.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
