Construction company BAM has confirmed that all work on the National Children’s Hospital has stopped with immediate effect.
In a statement BAM confirmed that construction work ceased following a meeting with the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board.
It is understood that work at the site was suspended in wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board deemed the current work at the site as non-essential.
Meanwhile BAM said that the health and safety of their staff was a top priority.
