Met Eireann is warning of unsettled weather conditions from Friday onwards, as the heatwave nears its end.
According to the national forecaster, Friday will see rain showers developing, particularly around Munster, with temperatures remaining in the low 20s.
Saturday and Sunday will bring a mix of sunny spells and cloudy periods, with mostly dry conditions, and temperatures reaching mid-20s at best.
The outlook is for changeable weather for the early part of next week, with frequent rain showers, and temperatures topping 20C at times.
