According to various reports it is understood that the Animal Rights Action Network are offering €5,000 reward to anyone who can provide information on those who disgracefully killed a small dog in Co Cork last weekend.

The reward comes after Gardaí in Cork have said they are fully investigating the harrowing incident, the Gardai along with the Animal Rights Network say they have every intent in capturing those who performed the brutal act of torture and killing of the dog. The dog in question a five year old jack russell Marvin a beloved family pet was tragically found dead in a ditch near Ballinderry Park after he suffered severe injuries, along with a cut to his throat.

Marvin’s tragic and shocking  death has clearly upset his owner Sylvia McCarthy who condemned those for the savage attack saying they should be sent to prison.

Ms McCarthy told reporters: “They should be brought to court, and probably get jail,””A Gard said to me that he had seen cases of neglect and animal cruelty, animals would be starving, and tied up, but never what was done to Marvin.”

The Animal Rights Action Network are strongly appealing to anyone with any information to contact them.
