The new Minister for Transport and the Environment Eammon Ryan has said that we can’t seal off the country in terms of people visiting Ireland.
Speaking at Dublin Castle, Ryan who has urged people to use their own judgement call in regards to booking a holiday, said that we can’t seal off the country unless we effectively start banning people which isn’t going to happen.
Ryan who has admitted that there is a great risk given the Covid-19 pandemic, said that we should instead be managing the situation and evaluate the risk when it comes to opening up our borders.
