Three women who were attacked in Louth attack named locally




Patricia ‘Pat’ Muckian has been identified locally as the lady who was gravely hurt on Friday following an incident at a residence in Dundalk, County Louth, reports RTE.

She was hospitalised with brain injuries, and her condition is still critical.

On Friday evening, Ms. Muckian was moved from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda to Beaumont Hospital.

The three ladies who sustained injuries in the incident are connected, according to Sinn Féin TD Ruairí Ó’ Murchú, reports RTE.

The two other women, Mairead and Maria Muckian, have been identified locally as the victims of minor injuries.

They received care in a Co Louth hospital as well.

Garda custody is still holding a man who was apprehended on the spot, reports RTE.
