Tragic news this evening, as it has been confirmed that a German tourist who was cycling down Conor Pass in Co. Kerry has sadly lost her life, after her bike veered off the road and crashed into a ditch.
The woman, understood to be in her 30s, was cycling down the road along with her boyfriend, when for reasons yet unknown, her bike left the road. Weather conditions were reportedly very poor at the time.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
