A 19-year-old teenager is in hospital in Waterford today after being attacked by another youth just before midnight last night.
The incident took place in the Poleberry area of Waterford city. The teenager was left with serious head injuries.
Gardai arrested the suspected attacker close to the scene. He is currently being held at Waterford Garda Station.
